Hi there, I’m Aldon. I’m based in New York, designing at 2x4.

When I’ve worked as an independent designer, my experiences have included working with a range of organizations: publishing (semiotext(e), Dopamine Books), technology (Luma Labs), art and culture (Trade School, Black Artist Research Space), to individual artist friends. My projects have included: visual identity development, typography and font design, art direction, books, and web design and development.

Additionally, I maintain an ongoing independent practice that includes writing (lots) and drawing.

I hold a BFA Graphic Design from ArtCenter College of Design, where I graduated valedictorian in 2024. Prior, I studied momentarily at Maryland Institute College of Art and School for Poetic Computation.

When I’m not working, I like to spend time with family and friends, taking very long walks, and practicing my saxophone.
